On bank holiday Monday I took the time to visit York with my family. The weather was so gorgeous! We took a river cruise to appease the parents (snore), we then went to visit the Viking Museum before ending our touristic day with the York Dungeons - which were both historic and creepy.
Driving to York gave me an insight into what it'll be like to drive down to Newcastle in September. Why does Newcastle have to be so far away?!
